The Power is Yours By Vinay D Bajaj- A perfect motivational book Penned in a simple yet unique way. A little bit of motivation and self-help can take us a long way, especially in this stressful hour of the Corona Pandemic. In this scenario, a book like "The Power is Yours: A-Z Guide to Your Personal Power", offers a sense of relief. To date, I reviewed a few self-help books and, so picking this book to review was natural for me. The cover page of the book represents the subject quite well. It indicates that it will be related to a motivational topic. Starting from the 1st page it managed to impress me with its simple and easy to flow language. The book targets the subject which states, that each one of us has some superpowers. Such powers empower us to help in achieving the dream in our lives. These superpowers are very simple and need discipline, habit, and faith to experience the advantages.
What impressed me about the author is his detailing capabilities. So, what exactly this means? Little confused? Well, let me explain. This book is divided into 26 chapters. We have 26 alphabets in English, and each chapter of this book is dedicated to one letter, starting from A to Z. One chapter for one specific trait that author Bajaj believes one must have or try to develop or maintain for achieving the goals. I will share a few examples of a better explanation. Let’s take chapter B, which talks about Power of Balance, chapter D is for Power of Discipline, chapter E talks about Power of Enthusiasm, and similarly, you will get to learn about other superpowers against every alphabet of English.
Mr. Bajaj’s way of writing is something that can make one spellbound. The clarity in the explanation will make one his fan for sure, and I am among them. One of the key features of this self-help book is that, as a reader, you can pick any chapter randomly. Trust me and you will enjoy it. The language is very simple, and even an average English skill person can also follow it. Exercise is given, at the end of every chapter along with and a summary, and you can solve it in your free time. Before I close, one single point I will mention. The inclusion of some real-life examples in the book, I believe, could have made this book even better. Keeping this point aside, I will give this book a perfect 5 on 5.
