Review of The Book

Hey guys, I hope you are doing absolutely fine, Today I'm going to tell you one big secret that why some people are good at communicating with others while others aren't, and Why some are good at influencing the people while some aren't.

Research has shown human success depends on, 15% Technical Skills and 85 % on Social Skills.



The author has given some principles to improve our "Social Skill''.

''Give people what they want'' 

There is one most important thing we die for, that is desire to be ''Important'' & to be "Appreciated''.

    Ex. You must've seen "Munna Bhai MBBS'' where hero hugged one janitor and made him feel great while saying, ''Thank you for the great work you do, thank you so much''.

    Then the janitor became his good friend and he was with him till the end.

    The main reason for bad relationship, that is people have a lack of ''Appreciation'', remember that we can easily find the people who criticize others but if you make people feel great so, They can give to you, their Love, Support, and they will always be with you.

    ''Arouse in the other person an eager want''

    you cannot get your work done till other people want to do that for you.

      Ex. One time Dale Carnegie arranged the series of lectures on social skills in the Hotel of New York, suddenly he got the news that the Manager of that Hotel has increased his rent 3 times but at a time Dale Carnegie had sold all tickets of his show.


      The next day  Dale Carnegie went to the Manager and said, ''I got shocked when I read your latter and I'm not blaming you for rent'', your work is to get the maximum profit to the Hotel.


      But for now, Let's write on a paper, what're the advantages and disadvantages of increasing your hotel rent for show.


      The Advantage is that your Ballroom will be free which you can give for dancing & parties because of this you'll get more profit.


      And the Disadvantage is that I won't be able to hire your hotel because I don't have much money and I'll have to hire another hotel.

      Second Rich & educated people always come in my lecture because of this your hotel will be advertised totally free, Even 5000$ advertising won't bring as many people to your hotel as my lecture brings for free.

      "Dale Carnegie'' gave that paper to the Manager and tell him, ''to think''.


      The next day manager sent the latter to "Dale Carnegie'',  In that latter Manager said to raise only 50% instead of 300%.

      "Dale Carnegie'' has done this thing without saying what he wanted.

      ''Be genuinely interested in other people'

      Whenever people meet someone, they start appreciating itself like I did awesome things on my tour and I did this... I did that...

      And the reality is that nobody wants others should be batter than him.

      So If you want to make a good bonding with others, you should be genuinely interested in that person and talk related to that person like '' I heard you're learning Gymnastic, that's really cool! tell me about it''.

      A good conversation says, ''Talk yourself 25% and let others talk rest of the 75% of time''.

      You know, why dogs are a good friend of humans because a dog makes his living by giving nothing but ''Love''.
