The Connection just blew my mind. Beatrice, a simple girl in her senior year of high school was having a normal day at her school chatting with her old friends, Chris and Darla. Darla was informing her about the Kingstons and the Flannerys and just moments after Bea could see the boy himself - Chase Kingston (read Edward Cullen from Twilight but hotter and more powerful).

But there was something odd about him and Bea could sense it. Chase was as rude as he was handsome and Bea couldn't hate him more after their first meeting but everything changed when she saw Chase at her home conversing with her father Robert like they were old allies. Everything for Bea changed that day as she saw Chase being able to move things without touching them or worse (or better, depends on your perception) him being able to read her thoughts.

Bea discovered that Chase not only looked otherworldly but was in fact, otherworldly, he did not belong to Earth.
But what he had to do with her family and what was the fuss about her mother Why Chase kept accusing Bea's deceased mother for creating "this mess"??

This book just epitomised perfection for me. It had everything I could ever expect from a piece of fiction - strong well developed characters which grow through the story, an engaging and gripping storyline, the ability to convey emotions and make me feel how the character feels and awesome climax.

Chase is an extraterrestrial being (an alien), he is the leader of the guards of planet Ferro and he is also the legal heir of the throne, after losing his girlfriend Sera who possessed the opposite energy source to him, he is in search of some answers. Who killed Sera?? Why did Faye put Sera's source into Bea, despite her being a human and the fact that this could put Bea's life in danger.

Chase is a heartthrob, the way his character is written, he would definitely make a better hero than Edward if this book is made into a movie. At times he can be a real jerk but if you can see the underlying reasons you would understand him.

Bea is awesome, I loved how she reacted when she came to know of the reality and as secrets were disclosed before her one by one, she behaved just as a normal girl would. I loved how her character grew and her real identity came through. She is brave, polite, vulnerable yet strong.

I loved how all the characters were so well written like Tasha who is the most sensible, Darla who is such a dear loyal friend.

I loved the writing style and how all the questions were answered at just the right time. The end was something unexpected and I would love to read the sequel. This book just sucked me in and I couldn't put it down until I reached the last page.
